On the behalf of Spyder's development team (http://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/people/list), I'm pleased to announce that Spyder 2.3 has been released and is available for Windows XP/Vista/7/8, GNU/Linux and MacOS X: https://bitbucket.org/spyder-ide/spyderlib/downloads
This release represents 14 months of development since version 2.2 and introduces major enhancements and new features:
* Python 3 support (versions 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4 are supported).
* Various Editor improvements:
- Use the Tab key to do code completions
- Highlight cells
- First-class support for Enaml files
- Improve how calltips are shown
* Better looking Object Inspector
* Several refinements to the user interface to make it easier and more intuitive
* And many other changes: http://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/wiki/ChangeLog
Spyder 2.2 has been a huge success (being downloaded more than 400,000 times) and we hope 2.3 will be as successful as it. For that we merged 30 pull requests from 11 authors, and added almost 1000 commits between these two releases.
Spyder is a free, open-source (MIT license) interactive development environment for the Python language with advanced editing, interactive testing, debugging and introspection features. Originally designed to provide MATLAB-like features (integrated help, interactive console, variable explorer with GUI-based editors for dictionaries, NumPy arrays, ..), it is strongly oriented towards scientific computing and software development. Thanks to the `spyderlib` library, Spyder also provides powerful ready-to-use widgets: embedded Python console (example: http://packages.python.org/guiqwt/_images/sift3.png), NumPy array editor (example: http://packages.python.org/guiqwt/_images/sift2.png), dictionary editor, source code editor, etc.
Description of key features with tasty screenshots can be found at:

Don't forget to follow Spyder updates/news:
* on the project website: http://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/
* and on our official blog: http://spyder-ide.blogspot.com/
Last, but not least, we welcome any contribution that helps making Spyder an efficient scientific development/computing environment. Join us to help creating your favorite environment!

This time it will be short review of what I have found. As you can read here I got to work Spyder IDE in macOS as standalone app with Python 3.5 in it (backed it up in DMG file).
Spyder Dmg For Mac Windows 10
- Sep 29, 2015 I only used it for a short while to test (and might have come to the wrong conclusion). My colleague sitting next to me experience the same lagging for Spyder on mac by the way (using Anaconda). @chrisjcameron these are the differences between my Anaconda Spyder and the dmg Spyder: Anaconda Spyder, dmg Spyder.
- Our website provides a free download of FLV Spider 3.1.43 for Mac. FLV Spider for Mac lies within Internet & Network Tools, more precisely Download Managers. The actual developer of this software for Mac is Mp3FLV. The default filename for the application's installer is flvspidernew.dmg.
- MacOS (10.15): Spyder.dmg To use these installers with your current conda or pyenv environments, please read the entry How do I get Spyder to work with my existing Python packages/environment?
As I usually work with EEG data I picked a MNE module for my data analysis tool. In this manner I need to use interactive graphs and plots. On retina screen which is not still managable in Qt5 enviroment from some reason.
So, what to do when using retina resolution at macOS and would like to use interactive plots?
Luckily there is very easy solution. Just set up the iPython console graphics backend to OS X. Then restart Spyder IDE and you are ready to go.
For complete sence I put there some images of default Qt5 backend:
Spyder Dmg For Mac Catalina
And automatic backend picked by Spyder IDE: Download la noire for mac.
Spyder Dmg For Mac Pro
After seting to OS X one you will see instant imporovement. And also interactive plots works great!
